Die gateprotect VMWare UTM Software Appliance VMZ 2500 ist eine hochperformante Schutzlösung für Netzwerke bis zu 2000 Usern und unterstützt unlimitiert physikalische Subnetze. Sie ist für alle VMWare Systeme lieferbar. Die Appliance unterstützt alle gateprotect VPN Features. Für größere Netzwerkstrukturen werden Routingformate wie RIP oder OSPF unterstützt. Die Appliance verfügt über einen VoIP-Proxy und unterstützt somit moderne Kommunikationsstrukturen. Die VMZ 2500 ist ein zentrales und vollständiges Schutzsystem für Unternehmen mit hohen Ansprüchen und unterstützt alle xUTM-Features. Optional können Virusfilter, Spamfilter oder Webfilter integriert werden. Die Bedienung erfolgt über die einzigartige benutzerfreundliche eGUI Oberfläche oder über das optional erhältliche gateprotect Command Center. Die Administration wird durch beide Systeme erheblich vereinfacht und der Aufwand für die Konfiguration aufgrund der prozessorientierten Oberfläche auf ein Minimum reduziert.
